Netflix recently shared an update regarding the highly anticipated Hollywood live-action series based on Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga. The update comes directly from the original creator of One Piece, who is also serving as an executive producer on the series. Oda stated that the show is still on track to debut in 2023, but it won't launch until he is "satisfied." Netflix will exclusively stream the live-action series, which is being produced by Tomorrow Studios. In 2017, the producer Marty Adelstein stated at Jump Festa that the live-action series will start with the East Blue arc and will "broaden from there."
